DARWIN TRIPLE CROWN

The ShowTime team had a busy time in Darwin. It started with our team helping with a road train road trip with our friends at Scott Taylor Motor Sport. The idea was to take four of STM’s trailers and road train them to Darwin, this included a film crew, camera car, back up truck and even a helicopter. The whole trip was captured and a content piece will be released shortly so stay tuned.

Once in Darwin our teams commitments started early with our Repco Fleet attending school visits with DJR, driver signing sessions and the transporter parade that saw our C10 carrying some very important cargo, ‘The Peter Brock’ Trophy.

The gates opened Friday morning and the crowds flocked in, the boys were kept busy with course car rides, the pit stop challenge and our Repco Rider transporting fans and VIP’s all weekend long.

VARIETY NSW BASH 2023

Something different for the team, we were asked to build two vehicles for Repco and take part in the NSW Variety Bash. We travelled over 2500 km from Orange to Newcastle via Echuca in Victoria. The team took our junior pit stop challenge and a bunch of give aways. The Bash journey had us visiting schools each day for breakfast and lunch so that much needed items and equipment could be donated to these rural schools along the way.

This year’s bash raised over $1.3 million dollars and it was an honour and privilege to be part of it while representing Repco and their partners/suppliers.

MOTOREX MELBOURNE

A cold and wet weekend welcomed the team to Melbourne for the 2023 MotorEx event but the rain didn't dampen our spirits. After launching our Rotiform Wheels Porsche on their stand we set up our other display cars and the Pit Stop Challenge was in action. The rest of the weekend was spent performing burnouts and drifting demos.

ADELAIDE MOTORSPORT FESTIVAL

This was a first time event for our team! We activated our Pit Stop Challenge, had our BMW on the track and our Repco Rider was transporting the crowd around the event. A pinnacle of the weekend was taking VIP's on track while Sir Jack Brabham's son, David, and grandson, Sam, performed demo laps around the famous Adelaide street circuit in the world famous BT19 Formula 1 World Championship Car.

NEWCASTLE 500

Round 1 of Supercars kicked off in Newcastle and it was a huge weekend for our team. We launched our new Kustom Garage built Landcruiser FJ40 on the Thursday night followed by a full weekend of on and off track activations.

BAREFOOT WORLDS

Some of our amazing female Sea World Ski Team members travelled to Kirwan Ski Parks at Mulwala in February to compete in the Barefoot Worlds event. What's more exciting is Mulwala is the "Peeble" sisters home lake! All the girls had a great time but most of all they met a tonne of new people and made some lifelong friendships along the way. The ladies came home with multiple wins, not limited to:
Faith Dix - Under 23 Women's Overall - Gold
Macy Peebles - Junior Girls - 2nd Overall
Zali Peebles - Under 23 Trick - Silver

SUMMERNATS 2023

Our Kustom Garage team took our custom widebody BMW E33 to the Summernats for our sponsor "Wheel Pros". Bliss N Esso, also sponsored by "Wheel Pros", put on a wicked performance on the Saturday night. An event highlight was leading the Supercruise in our good friend Jason Kennedy's Wild Flamed Single Spinner.

ADELAIDE 500

The final Super Car round of the year for our Kustom Garage Team was a four day event in Adelaide. The event was a huge success with more than 250,000 people walking through the gates across the 4 days. Our team was kept busy with our Pit Stop Challenge, Repco Rider, Course Car rides, Burnout demos and more.

GOLD COAST 500

Another great round of Supercars on our home turf. The Gold Coast 500 was an action packed weekend with Repco and Boost Mobile. The weather was on point, the racing was hot and the activations drew in the crowds.

OUR VERY OWN WORLD SWIVEL SKI CHAMPION

Our very own Alisha Stewart can now call herself the best swivel skier in the world following her performance at the World Water Ski Show Tournament held in Cypress Gardens, Winter Haven Florida in October 2022. We are extremely proud of Alisha's efforts considering she has gone into this off the back of a knee reconstruction. Well done Alisha! Keep up the hard work!

THE 2022 REPCO BATHURST 1000

Another incredible year at the Repco Bathurst 1000. Launching the new Repco Rider, taking the whole Repco vehicle fleet and having a Helmets of History display in the Repco Trackside Store. Additionally operating the Pit Stop Challenge and more activations from the top to the bottom of the mountain. This year we paid special thanks to the campers for getting through a very wet/muddy week on the mountain.

THUNDER LAKE UNDER LIGHTS

On Thursday the 11th of August we had the privilege of performing a corporate night show at Sea World. The show at night under lights was spectacular with added effects and pyrotechnics. Adam and Cuda, our lead actors had the crowd in stitches with personalised dialogue calling out members in the audience.

THERES A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN

Welcome to the team Bridget Burt! We are proud to introduce Bridget who has a strong background in stunt performing and martial arts. Bridget has worked in China, Spain and Australia as a full-time water sports stunt performer but since 2020 has shifted focus to film stunts. She is a great asset to the team, and we look forward to watching Bridget grow as a performer at Showtime. Make sure you get down to Movie World to watch Bridget stunt double in the Hollywood Stunt Driver 2 show.

BROTHERS REUNITE

International professional water skiers Sean and Tyler Hyatt reunite at Sea World, Gold Coast Australia to ski in the Thunder Lake Stunt Show. Sean and Tyler born and bred in South Dakota have grown up on the water skiing. On the phone you cannot tell them apart and although Tyler has said Sean is the better skier, Sean admits he cannot backward barefoot, so his younger brother has one up on him. Tyler and wife Bailey have been team members since 2019 whom decided to head home during COVID returning in February this year (2022). Sean currently calls Germany home where his wife and two children live. Sean has always dreamed of skiing on the lake at Sea World, Australia since the early 2000’s where he just missed out as the ski show came to an end of its era. Both Sean and Tyler have skied in many ski shows around the world and represented their home country being team USA in the World Skiing Tournament and now team Germany for Sean who is competing again this coming October. Without a doubt the Hyatt brothers are at the pinnacle of their sport, and it is an absolute pleasure and privilege to have them both on the team. Make sure you get out to Sea World and watch the sibling rivalry unfold as the Allstars take on the River Rats.

DARWIN SUPERCARS

Our ShowTime Kustom Garage team was on the road again, this time heading to Darwin for the SuperCars event. As always, the road trip is a journey jumping in with the other team transporters to form a convoy of trucks through the outback watching incredible sunsets, camping out and stopping into outback pubs. Once in Darwin the team was busy kicking off the weekend with a Repco store appearance with our vehicles on display. Straight after that we jet set to the track and set up the ultimate Repco vehicle display and got ready for some on track action. We topped off the weekend by celebrating a great win with our friends from Tickford Racing.

HIGH OCTANE HOLE FOR SEA WORLD RESEARCH AND RESUCE FOUNDATION'S

GOLF DAY 2022

Another year and another incredible day for an amazing cause we are always proud to be part of. This year we brought our Repco fleet of vehicles to host our famous party hole and we did not disappoint. The DJ booth was getting a workout with every team competing to win the Best Dancer award at the end of the day. Yet again we scrapped the traditional hole play with a process of elimination game resulting in one team member then having to hit, spin or throw a sports object as far as they could to commence their hole from the newly marked tee. This definitely was an advantage for some, but not for others. The sun was shining, plenty of fun was had and yet again everyone got on board and helped raise thousands for an incredible foundation.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA ROAD TRIP

Our Kustom Garage team made the 9500km round trip to Perth for round 4 of the Super Cars season. The team took delivery of their new trailer to transport the fleet across the Nullarbor. Once there the team supplied course car rides, on and off-track activations and more.

THE REPCO BATHURST 1000

2021 was a huge year at the Bathurst 1000 for our team, we launched 2 new vehicles, performed on and off track with various activations. Total count was 8 days, 8 staff, 5 vehicles, 2 trucks and a motorhome. The pictures speak for themselves.

CUSTOM BUILT TROPHY’S

The ShowTime Kustom Garage was commissioned to design and build some unique one-of-a-kind trophy’s for staff incentive awards to celebrate Repco’s naming rights to Australia’s greatest motor race, The Bathurst 1000. Our team designed these trophy’s out of used parts from previous Dick Johnson Racing Bathurst raced cars. The steering wheel of our C10 which starred in the ‘Bringin The Bathurst’ advertising and TV campaign.

BRINGIN THE BATHURST TV AND ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

Our very own ShowTime director Gary Reid was asked to star in the Repco ‘Bringin The Bathurst’ TV and Advertising Campaign. Gary acted and drove in the commercial also working close with Will Davison and the DJR team. This was a very successful campaign for Repco and the team is looking forward to the 2022 ad concept. FEDERAL TYRES RESIGNS WITH OUR MOVIE WORLD TEAM

We are very pleased to announce that Federal Tyres will be continuing the long standing relationship with ShowTime Entertainment Groups ‘Hollywood Stunt Driver 2’ Show at Movie World. Federal is the official tyre suppler and have worked hard with our team to make sure we get the best performing tyre to keep our cars on set day after day, show after show.

ULTIMATE PIT STOP CHALLENGE

The ShowTime Kustom Garage team pitched the concept of the ultimate pit stop challenge to Repco. The answer was yes please but can you build it in 4 weeks. Challenge excepted.

ON TRACK FUN

Our ShowTime Kustom Garage team has been on the road with Repco heading to Tailem Bend, Darwin and Townsville with our ShowTime C10. We have been supplying course car sponsor rides and even spending some time on track frying tyres.

FEMALE SHOW SKIER OF THE DECADE

Our very own Alisha Stewart has been voted the World Female Show Skier Of The Decade 2010 – 2019

Alisha is from Melbourne, Victoria Australia. She is one of the most versatile female show skiers who can perform so many different acts in show skiing.

Alisha has been a member of the Australian Ski Show Team to compete at 4 Ski Show Worlds for Australia and travelled to many countries around the world to perform shows in places like China 6 times, USA, Canada and Dubai. She has been involved in the first ever female triple heli in the world and the first Australian female to land a front flip off the ski jump. In 2019 at the Australian Ski Show Nationals her back barefoot circles was the highest scoring act for both days of competition. 2017 she was the Australian Swivel Champion and has won numerous swivel competitions in the USA.

Alisha currently performs full time in our Thunder Lake Stunt Show on the Gold Coast and consistently performs swivel, barefoot, wakeboard and jump acts on a daily basis. She is joined by her world renowned show skiing sister Maddie making this a real family affair.

NEW PARTNERSHIP

We are stoked with our new corporate partnership with Repco Australia which will see our ShowTime Kustom Garage team suppling a number of vehicles and activations for a number of Repco events across Australia including a number of Supercar rounds.

THE LEGACY CONTINUES

After 22 years at the top of the FMX game it was time to hand over the keys to the truck so the legacy can continue. Gary decided it was time to step down as the director of the Freestyle Moto X Team. The team was sold to long time team member Brad Burch. The name has changed to Airtime FMX. Expect the same consistency, professionalism and all your favourite riders and staff you have come to expect.

SEAWORLD CARNIVALE 2021

BOOM! Carnival at Sea World this year was bigger and better than ever, especially with some boys from the Thunder Lake Stunt Team getting involved. With the Aqua light show, bigger, brighter and taller than ever, it was hard to try and stand out- but there is nothing the boys love more than a challenge. Bring on the firework laden jet ski’s! For a ShowTime first, we had four specially modified Jet ski’s, performing high speed patterns, weaving in and out of each other, all while over 300 firework shots being unloaded from the back of them! The team @ All Fired Up needed our drivers to be at the top of their game, to deliver such a delicate and precise role. Needless to say through all the water spray, Laser Lights, bone jolting impact from the live fireworks, the boys delivered time and time again! Bring on next year

SUMMER SLAM 2021

What a way to start 2021! The boys kicked things off with 21 jammed packed days of shows to the huge crowds escaping the heat at Gold Coast’s Wet and Wild. With our new sponsor UNIT to show off, the boys were itching to get out there and put on a show like no other. Arguably one of the most scenic settings, the boys loved performing high above the water slides. They say you should always start the new year the way you want the rest of the year to go, but we’re not sure if the boys can sustain this type of intensity… But we’re sure they’ll try!

Heave HO HO HO

The ShowTime Xmas party is event that can NEVER be missed, and this year was no exception. After such a crazy , tumultuous year for everyone, it couldn’t have been better cruising through the Broadwater of the Gold Coast on board a SeaWorld Cruise. With amazing food and drinks, the whole team relished the decadent setting and let their hair down! For the first time ever, ShowTime put the call out through their staff to vote for who they think the performer of the year should be. The FMX Team couldn’t separate a clear winner as they all voted for themselves, The Movie World team put forward their gracious Team Leader, Warren Luff as the dissevered recipient. The Sea World team is the biggest employee pool, so the voting was fierce, but Jonny Haselam’s undying commitment showed through! Well done to everyone for such an amazing year and judging by the laughs and antics onboard, a truly fantastic night was had by all!

Luffy does it again

Words can’t really expressed how pumped we were for Warren Luff’s latest podium at the Bathurst 1000 this year, though an article by  Stefan Bartholomaeus summed it up pretty well.

“A sixth Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 podium in nine years has earned Warren Luff a unique place in the Great Race’s record books.  The 44-year-old put in a typically solid performance to setup a third-place finish for himself and Chaz Mostert in the #25 Walkinshaw Andretti United Holden on Sunday. Luff now has four third-place and two second-place finishes at Bathurst, equalling the record for most podiums without a win held by Brad Jones and Cameron McConville.  Mostert was full of praise for his co-driver post-race, laughing that Luff’s regular job as a stunt driver at Movie World on the Gold Coast must be his secret sauce.  “Luffy was super-solid in all conditions. It’s pretty awesome to get another podium with Luffy here,” said Mostert. “I was glad not to be in the car when it was raining. Obviously something he does at Movie World, sliding cars around, it’s his forte.  “I can't wait to get home. I’m going to get a ticket for the front-row and go and watch the show!”

6 podiums in 9 years. How good is that! 2021 will definitely be the year of the LUFF!

SPOOKY NIGHTS

SeaWorld has light up the night with the latest Halloween inspired event running over Friday and Saturday nights throughout October. We couldn’t wait to get our team involved in such a  fun, family friendly night.  Thunder lake has been transformed with 5 person flag lines, LED Jet Skiing and the infamous Pirates taking over the TROAT for joyrides. Make sure you get along to see the spectacle while there is still a handful of tickets left!

AWESOME HUMANS Podcast

The latest podcast by PODFIRE - AWESOME HUMANS with Brett MaCallum, is a show that interview’s all sorts of inspiring humans from all sorts of varied backgrounds with amazing stories about success and failures throughout their careers, willing to share with an eager audience. ShowTime’s Director and Founder Gary Reid was honoured and delighted when asked to come and tell his story on the show and what a compelling and motivating story it is! Make sure you have a listen as Gary talks about childhood, family and starting out ShowTime in the early days and how the company has grown.

FINALLY - THE BOYS ARE BACK IN THE AIR!

Yes, you read it right, the FMX boys are back! It's seems like an eternity since COVID shut the entertainment world down, but as soon as ShowTime FMX got the call, we were ready to roll! And what a show it was!  With the school holidays coming to an end, the Brisbane Holiday Village at Eight Mile Plains wanted to do something extra special to mark the occasion, so we responded! Riders Kain “Sauly” Saul and Scott “TopDog” Fitzgerald were delighted to be back in the saddle, and they certainly made up for lost time. The Brisbane Holiday Village always holds a special place in ShowTime’s heart as this is where we stayed for the first 10 years whenever the team was in town to perform. It was great to be able to get back to doing what we do best in such an awesome venue!

CHANNEL NINES TODAY SHOW TIM TAKES ON THUDERLAKE

Wednesday the 5th of August, Tim the Weather man for Channel 9’s Today Show Breakfast team, broadcasted live from Thunderlake. We thought the only way he could truly reflect how awesome it is here was to ski the lake. He was an absolute pro, so much so we thought it was should send him over the 6 foot high Ski Jump. After a quick training session with our jump team, and couple of hot laps in the jump skis he was ready to go. We would love to say he nailed it on his first attempt, but no. Not even with the rest of the attempts was he able to ski away. What must be said however, was his determination and commitment won us all over. He was an absolute legend and would not give up- just the type of qualities we look for here at ShowTime. Who knows, he might have missed his calling!

TICKFORD SUPERCAR TEAM AT THUNDERLAKE

With the Supercars parked up at Sea World Resort, it was a perfect opportunity to the inject some extra flavour into the ThunderLake Stunt Show at Sea World.  As Jack Le Brocq is the perpetual nice guy, it was only fitting for him to join the River Rats Team. Lee Holdsworth, James Courtney and Cam Waters had sided with the AllStar 's. The boys were pumped and couldn't wait to get into the show. Once we caught wind Cam Waters is handy on the wakeboard, we had to get him more involved. A quick training session was had and his acting skills passed the test, so he was in! The team was delighted to have a chance to work with the special guests and the lucky crowd was blown away. Check out the video and other videos page here

SHOWTIME ANSWERS THE CALL FOR RELOCATING SUPERCAR TEAMS

Article from speedcafe.com

The ShowTime Entertainment Group behind the stunt shows at Movie World and Sea World will temporarily house Walkinshaw Andretti United at its Gold Coast facility. In an effort to safeguard the BetEasy Darwin Triple Crown in August, non-Queensland teams will move to the sunshine state temporarily. After news broke that teams would have to move, ShowTime Entertainment Group boss Gary Reid contacted Walkinshaw Andretti United and Tickford Racing to see if they could help.“We’ve got a tie in with a lot of teams because we’ve been involved with V8 entertainment for a long time,” Reid told Speedcafe.com. “When I heard that the teams had to relocate to Queensland, we reached out to Tickford just to see if they needed anything. “They ended up needing a whole area for their four cars, so we lined up Sea World Resort for them. “Warren Luff, who is one of my managers at Movie World and drives for Walkinshaw, I said to him to just ring the boys and see if they needed anything to let them know we can try help out.“Luffy rang back and said they were looking for somewhere to prep the cars and park up. “We’ve got the room at our ShowTime workshop, so we moved a few things around and got them enough room to set two cars up and park up the B-double and be ready for Darwin. ”The Gold Coast base has a workshop and 1950s-style cafe and lunchroom that the team will be able to use.Reid has also sought help from associated businesses including painters and alignment specialists. With at least a two-week window in which the teams are expected to be based on the Gold Coast, Reid said they’ll look to do some cross-promotion with the teams and drivers. Reid said he was keen to make the teams feel as at home as possible amid an uncertain period away from home. “I think that’s the important thing, I feel for the teams that have got young families at home with partners, it’s a tough slog,” said Reid. “My wife and daughter have put up their hand to host a barbeque at home and try to get a homely feeling back to some of the teams. “I know Paul Morris has organised a bit of stuff for the boys to have fun. I think it’s great that everyone is pulling together and helping out. “With the Tickford thing, I made one phone call to Sea World Resort and they said they would do whatever they could to help.”

WE’RE BAAAAAAACCCCCKKKKKK

Seaworld and Movie World on the Gold Coast are now open and you can barely contain the excitement around the place! After the COVID Hiatus, the ShowTime team have been extremely fortunate to be able to get back into what we love doing best. So much hard work has gone on behind the scenes to make this possible, and as soon as we got the green light- we were ready and raring to go! Even the Minister for Tourism, Kate Jones, was wanting to hit the jump!

Jumping at Jimboomba

The fun was back in the City of Logan for the first time in two years. Jimboomba Stadium X. With so much two wheel action in one place, our FMX boys were stoked to have the chance to put on a show for the first time in Jimboomba history. Due to the current state of affairs the actual event was touch and go, but luckily it got the green light and an awesome night was had by all. A special shout out to JSR Media for getting on the tools and getting some great snaps.

Raising the stakes in Canberra

Now our 21st year performing at the ActewAGL Canberra show, it was up to us to pull something extra special out of the box. Time for the “Battle of the Golden Helmet”. With a custom built chopper, the FMX Honda 450’s and the VE Commodore drift ute there was barely any room for our one of a kind, specifically built Kustom Garage Stadium Drift Truck, but there was no way the show was going on without it! And what a show it was! Over the two nights, Canberra Stadium was thrilled with the battle and with our very own Jack McNeice and Gary Reid, both born and bred in Canberra, the show was made even sweeter! Bring on next year.

SHOWTIME FMX SUMMER SLAM - WET N WILD

The ShowTime FMX team were at it again performing shows 4 times daily during the holiday season at  Wet N Wild on the Gold Coast. Robbie Marshall, Kain Saul, Brad Burch and Tommy G the MC took to the aquatic show ground and kept park guests entertained throughout the day. The team are pumped to have had the opportunity to perform for guests and VIPS and are looking forward to doing it all over again in style soon!

HO HO SHOWTIME

The silly season is well and truly upon us, so it’s our time to celebrate. This year’s Christmas Party for ShowTime was next level. The team is now over 40 strong and with partners getting in on the action, the Miami Marketta take over was on. In true ShowTime fashion, the setting was above and beyond. With laughs and good cheer flowing thicker than the cocktails, an awesome night celebrating the year was had by all

LIAMS LAST STAND

Every once and a while a team member comes along that optimises everything you could want in a staff member. Dedicated, passionate, committed. Liam Mellott was all that and more. One of our inaugural Jet Skiers to take on the massive role of “PHILIP” in the Thunder Lake Stunt Show at Sea World. He learnt to ski, perform two massive stunts in the Long Dive and Cable launch, which was well outside his realm, and had some serious acting chops to boot! He’ll be missed as he heads back to mother England to take on aeroplanes next – heaven help us all!!

New Fun in Newcastle!

Next stop for the Toyota Activation Truck was the Newcastle V8 Series. With fires threatening the area it was touch and go getting into the event. But luckily everyone got in and out ok and the people in the community got to forget about their worries for a few hours. V8 Super car legend Warren Luff was also in town as a guest driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing in the T86 series. With the two Toyota Supra driving simulators for fans to try out, it truly was an awesome event to be a part of.

SEA WORLD SISTER ACT

ShowTime keeps setting milestones. This time with our very first Sister's show at Thunder Lake.
Full Time Australian Barefoot Champ, Abbey Hicks, suggested that her 15 year old sister, Macey, was interested in plying her trade at Sea World. We were absolutely blown away by her audition and put her straight into shows. You can only imagine how proud the parents and grandparents were after seeing sibling rivalry take on a new meaning at Thunder Lake! Lucky for everyone, they were on the same side.

All Over Sandown

It's always a treat when our FMX boys get to share an event with Warren Luff, and Sandown is always extra special as it's the end of the Enduro Campaign. With a P5 result on the day and a 3rd overall for the Pirtek Enduro Cup, it was definitely time to party in Melbourne! Although, with the boys kept busy smashing out four shows a day to the huge Sandown crowds, it was hard to fit it all in!

 Vodafone Alley

ShowTime has great pleasure in activating for Vodafone at the GC600 and this year they wanted something extra special. Something to really embrace the fun and frivolity and leave a lasting impression with all the race goers. We give you – VODAFONE ALLEY. A carnival atmosphere was created where everything and anything was in in the name of fun. With Tommy G the MC as ringmaster and jugglers, unicycling and face painters to keep the energy alive. With so many chances to win prizes with games like the Bean Toss, Ring Toss, the High Striker and the Major Prize Grab, fans were packed in all weekend long. For the racing purist’s however, you had the perfect place to relax on the grass in front of your very own big screen!

600 Percent

Every year the boys can’t wait to get into shows at the GC600. With the sun shining, waves pounding and sand through their boots, you would swear they were on holiday! It’s not often you get people on eye level with the boys when they boot it off the ramp, so the prime balcony views got an extra special wink mid trick! The last show of the weekend was out on track in front of pit lane for all the corporate boxes, then with the obligatory lap of the course. It really is an event to remember.

On the Loose in Lismore

No matter what the size of event, the boys can’t wait to get out and thrill the crowds with their amazing feats. Still buzzing from performing at Brisbane’s Super Cross, the boys polished up the bikes and were at it again, flying high through the Lismore skies. Events like this are awesome for the lads, as they can really get out into the crowd and meet the fans up close. Nothing beats the look of awe in the young kids faces when they finally get to high five Robbie and Burchy. It was also a big event for our major sponsor, Betta Home Living, so the boys got to meet some of the staff from the local store, which is always extra special touch for the day!

Super Cross- Brisneyland!

For the first time in history, ShowTime FMX opened the night at Brisbane’s Super Cross. Inside the packed stadium, the ramp just about filled the arena floor. With all the razzel dazzle of fireworks, light shows and fans basically sitting on top of the action, it was a night that will be never be forgotten. The added cherry on top was having Corey Creed join the boys in his first ride back after winning Gold in the XGames QuarterPipe High Air comp in Minneapolis.

Bathed in Bathurst

As always, the Bathurst 1000 is a special time of year. Not just because we have the Toyota activation with the prime, roof-top viewing of the track, and not just because the “Peoples Prince” Warren Luff is out there tearing up track, but because Bathurst brings an energy to an event like no other. Dripping with history, this legendary race event has everyone desperate to get into the Toyota Truck to try and capture as much of the action as possible. With the best position on track, we can’t wait to be back there next year.

Another Massive Melbourne Marathon

The two weeks of shows at the Royal Melbourne Show are not for the fainthearted. The arduous schedule of day shows then backing up for the main arena at night, really tested the boys metal. As always, the lads seem to find another gear when the pressure is on and with the added rider of Kain Saul in the mix, Robbie Marshall and Brad Burch made sure they didn’t take it easy on him! Such a great event, in such an awesome city, at a perfect time of year, has the lads eager to get back next year.

Sea World’s Historic Dynamic Duo

For the first time in history we have had the first ever Dad and Daughter show at Sea World on the Gold Coast. Junior Skier, Analise Reid, joined the team a few months back so father Gary Reid thought it was time to dust off the boots and get in and perform alongside her for a show. It was hard to tell who was more nervous, Analise, Gary or wife and Mother Amanda sitting in the crowd, who has watched the two ski side by side for years. The show was incredible and with all the news cameras in to document this historic moment, the crowd seemed to get behind the show even more!

Whole New Kit and Kaboddle

Our long-standing relationship continues with Serco Motorsports and they have truly raised the bar this year. The boy’s new kits from ANSR Racing arrived and our hard-core riders turned into kids in a lolly shop. Tearing open the boxes like it was Christmas day, the lads couldn’t wait to suit up and show off their flashy new threads. We’ll have to be careful they don’t ditch the bikes and take up a runway of another kind!

RAD-elaide shows off!

Nineteen years ago, ShowTime FMX started flying through the Adelaide skies on 18-meter ramps, getting 4 to 5 meters in the air. Now we’re hitting 22 meters, flying 10-12 meters which is exactly what the Adelaide crowds love to see. As always, the boys had their work cut out for them with their stand-alone shows through the day then the massive arena spectacular at nights, but they really wouldn’t have it any other way. The event was extra special, with the gun photographer, Tom Scott @wilfy_ on the ground getting some sensational shots. We can’t wait to get back there next year.

It’s Parkes ShowTime!

Parkes is famous for a lot of things, but the big three are the Radio Telescope, The Elvis Festival and the biggest agricultural show west of the blue mountains- The Parkes Show. Having done two out of the three (Tommy can do a mean Elvis impersonation) it was time to tear the Parkes show apart. With thousands coming for all around, the boys had a blast. With the crazy heights they were getting out in the main arena, some say you needed the radio telescope to see them!

ShowTime Color Time!

ShowTime’s team culture is high on the list in Director Gary Reid's eyes. So when a massive event like The Color Run comes to town, of course we had to get in on the action. As part of the Thunder Lake Stunt Team’s morning warm up- they were sent along to do a lazy 5k run through different color zones and massive foam areas. Being invited onto stage towards the end of the event to participate in a massive crowd based color throw, was the perfect cherry on top! This was a great start to a day for the team and everyone’s pumped to do it again next year!

Going Hard with GoPro!

With GoPro fusion guru, Azza-Jay (@azzaj), having a gap open up in his busy schedule - it was time for our Thunder Lake Stunt Team to put this camera to the test. With 360 capabilities, Azza’s knowledge and our teams world class skills, this photo shoot was next level. Just check out these amazing pics!

Toyota Hybrid Cavalcade!

The very first event for the brand new Toyota Hybrid Cavalcade activation, saw us kick things off in style!  The North Queensland Cowboys Home game against the Brisbane Broncos was the perfect setting to showcase this master piece. The Toyota Hybrid Cavalcade will continue throughout the year visiting regional areas of Australia, educating local communities on the benefits of Hybrid technology and to hopefully build Hybrid advocates in the next generation of young Australians.

Rocking it Retro!

Finally, the boys could fit in a local show right here on the Gold Coast, and they weren’t going to let the crazy high winds turn them off. The demand for our team has the boys traipsing all over the country throughout the year, so it’s always a special time when the lads get to wake up in their own beds before doing a show! This year’s Gold Coast Car Show at the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds was nearly blown off the map due to severe high winds, but being true pro’s, the boy’s managed to pick the right gaps in the weather and put on a cracking show for the huge crowd of fans who battled the arctic conditions!

 Tara's Hidden Treasure

The Tara Festival was unbelievable! Only four things were needed. Culture, Camels, Camping and ShowTime FMX! Robbie, Burchy and Tommy, were chomping at the bit to get on the back of a camel, but it was BYO, so with two bikes and microphone, they did what they do best and put on a show that will be talked about for years to come. This was the first time the team were invited came to the Tara festival and with all the fun that was had, it definitely won’t be our last! Just gotta get our hands on some camels!

Who Can? Cairns Can!

This year’s Cairns Show was next level! With the northern, warm, winter weather keeping the lad’s nice and toasty, they thought they should repay the favour by heating up the Clive Gordan Arena for three big days! Justice Crew was on board for this year’s show as the main feature act, so Burchy and Robbie decided to give them some royal treatment as well, by inviting them up to the top of the ramp, while they jumped over them. Needless to say, but Justice Crew are now big fans as well!

FAR NORTH PIT PARTY

What a weekend! With so much going on in Townsville, we had to make an extra special latest news. The FMX boys kicked off the Friday night with “Party in the Pits” for all the Emergency Services, Volunteers and those families hardest hit by the floods, continuing show’s all weekend, with Warren Luff tearing up the track in the Carrera Cup to keep them entertained between jumps! Kustom Garage were also in on the action, providing the Toyota Activation Trailer for the weekend. It definitely was a ShowTime Bonanza in the Ville! Needless to say, the boys were in their element and the Toyota team were over the moon! Bring on next year!

Betta Street Party in Biloela!

Team ShowTime FMX boys Robbie Marshall, Kain Saul and Tommy G the MC set up in Biloela, Queensland to join major partner Betta Home Living for the Betta.com.au Street Party, Saturday, June 22. The boys put on a show of epic proportions and high flying action. In addition to awesome stunts, the team met local fans, gave out prizes and Betta had massive sales throughout the store all day. The boys can't wait to be part of the Betta Biloela Street Party again!

We “FINKE”-ing did it!

For the second year in a row, the Showtime FMX team were invited to come play at the legendary FINK Desert Race. With the boys taking over main street for one of the biggest street parties of the year, we thought we should kick it up a notch and bring in our very own DJ for the show. Needless to say DJ Lamon had the place frothing, so by the time the boys came out, we nearly put away the ramps as the crowd alone was enough to send them soaring!

Outlaws Take Over Dubbo

The Dubbo Show this year wanted something extra from the FMX Team. Something out of the box. Beyond the norm… So we gave it to them! The main arena lit up with a themed show, Outlaws Vs Allstars- jammed packed action, complete with Motor bikes and Utes all with the Showtime flair. After packing out the stadium on the Saturday night, the boys couldn’t help themselves and delivered the cherry on top with the usual FMX show on the Sunday. We can’t wait to see what’s in store next year!

A Hole in One for Sea World Research and Rescue Foundation’s Golf Day 2019

It wouldn’t be a charity Golf Day without ShowTime Entertainment getting on board and sponsoring Hole One again. The competition this year was fierce. As the saying goes- “Drive for Show, Putt for Dough” so we scrapped the traditional hole play and brought in a mini putt challenge. With a ball in bucket challenge as well, some scorecards definitely blew out. But all was redeemed by the highly converted Dance Off competition. The joy was shared across the day and everyone got on board, with thousands raised for the foundation.

Clash of the Titans

Round 10 saw the Gold Coast Titans take on the Bulldogs at home. We decided to bring along some titans of our own in the form of Kain Saul, Brad Burch and Robbie Marshall. As an extra treat, we even had ShowTime’s very own Gary Reid back on the mic. After being on the road throughout the year, this was a special home event for the team, drawing huge crowds and support from our local family and friends. Titans VIP player, Michael “Flash” Gordon, was such a fan of the bikes, we decided to give him an up close and personal look at the action from the top of the ramp as the boys flew overhead!

Ancient Hawkesbury Fun

For over 130 years, the Hawkesbury Show has had it all from traditional favourites like woodchopping, livestock, district art and crafts exhibits through to amusement and a massive fireworks display at the end of each day. This year the fun was headed by our very own ShowTime FMX freestyle stunt team. The boys wowed crowds of over 60,000 attendees. They were so impressed with the local crowd, they went crazy giving out our new ShowTime merch.

Royal Bathurst Show Brings the Rain

The ShowTime FMX team have been a regular at the Reliance Bank Royal Bathurst Show for the last few years and never fail to impress. This year, the team brought the thunder, but the skies brought the rain. Given the challenging weather conditions and with a bit of luck and rain dancing from resident announcer, Tommy G the MC, the rain finally held off and the team took to the main arena to perform in front of a soaked, packed-out audience.

Thunder Lake Stunt Show Sea World

Launched in April 2019, Sea World has partnered with Australia’s leading stunt crew, Showtime FMX on the new show which will include some of the best water-ski, jet-ski and BMX performers in the country to take guests on a wild ride on water and land.

Village Roadshow Theme Parks Chief Operating Officer, Bikash Randhawa, said the Thunder Lake Stunt Show is a fast paced, visually spectacular show featuring non-stop action. “The Thunder Lake show centres around the Sun State All Stars and the Bay City River Rats with the two rival groups colliding in a showdown of extreme stunts to once and for all decide who rules the lake,” he said. “In addition to the jaw-dropping stunts, the Thunder Lake Stunt Show also features a very funny storyline with one of our characters sure to have the audience in stitches throughout the show."

The Thunder Lake Stunt Show runs twice daily at Sea World to give guests plenty of opportunities to see the best in non-stop action.

20 Year ROYAL Treatment

It's hard to believe that we've been coming to the Sydney Royal Easter Show for 20 years! Every year the show gets bigger and better, however this year's main show was absolutely off the hook! The Sydney goers must’ve caught wind that Showtime FMX was the feature act in the night time show, because there was never a spare seat in the stadium! Night after night, 35,000 people packed the stadium to see the boys fly high through the night skies. The boys performance was so good, it almost made the million dollar fireworks display that followed a non-event! The biggest show on Australia’s calendar is definitely the biggest show on ours and we are delighted to be invited back year after year. Here’s to the next 20 years Sydney!

500 Reasons!

There must be something in the water because the Adelaide Super Loop 500 always brings the best out in the boys! Year after year this is the one event everyone has circled in their diary. As it's the start to the Virgin Australia Super Championship the energy levels are high, and that's exactly what Burchy and Robbie thrive on. With the added addition of the Step Up comp taking place meters away from our show, Robbie Marshall couldn't help himself and made sure he got involved. Bring on next year
